Jane Finch – ABR’s Featured Author

Jane Finch lives in Norfolk, England and is married with one son who has plans to follow in his parents’ footsteps and travel the world once he has qualified as a meteorologist. Jane has traveled extensively and has also lived in Canada, Spain, and the Caribbean.

She has always needed to write, recalling as a young child always carrying a notebook around and writing short stories in a corner of the playground at school. She loves to write animal stories and her first children’s novel about squirrels was published in 1998. It has since been re-published as Squirrel Wars. More recently A Raven’s Tale has been published by Crimson Cloak Publishing. Jane has also written a number of award-winning children’s picture books.

Having spent over twenty-five years working in English Law, Jane decided to try her hand at writing crime thrillers. Her first novel, Due Process, is based in her hometown in Norfolk. Her book, The Black Widows, published by Solstice Publishing, reached the top ten of Amazon’s crime thriller list. Jane is a member of International Thriller Writers Inc.

Jane has also written a few e-books as well as a number of other published books, including Do You Believe in Miracles? an anthology of testimonies from people who have experienced miracles; Bromholme Priory: A Place of Miracles and Murder, a look into the history of a local Norfolk priory; Freedom: Defeating the Bullies, her son’s personal story of being the victim of bullying; Twelve Days to Save Christmas -always a personal ambition to write a classic Christmas fairy tale; and her latest book The Island Takers, a book to chill the heart of every tourist.

Now retired, Jane is free to write full-time, when inspired to do so, although she says, “None of my friends tell me anything anymore because they know I’ll write about it!”
