In each of the nine chapters, Carl Attipoe shares a different lesson he learned as he sought a more Bible-based life with the Lord. My favorite line was: “The journey of life can be viewed as a quest for the soul.” I found chapter five very moving, especially where he talks about his son CJ and the lessons, he has written to impart to CJ are relevant to all Christians. All his thoughts and ideas for living a good Christian life are backed up by lots of scriptures. He touches on original and ancestral sin, repentance for growth, communicating with God, grace and mercy, and unconditional love. To sum the book up I would say it is a key to unlocking a deeper commitment to God and embarking on a powerful journey of self-discovery.
Carl Attipoe candidly shares with us his walk with God in this awesome quick read. He is honest and open and as I read, I wished I could meet him. Carl has found the keys he needed to be able to hear from God and to change his life and shares them with us to inspire us to embark on our journey. Judge This Book by Its Cover is wholly inspiring and thought-provoking. I read it in four hours as I just couldn’t put it down. It is a book I plan to read again in a few months to make sure I have thoroughly absorbed the author’s guidance on a more intimate life with God. I felt like this was a rallying call that motivated me with a new zest to move closer to God. This anointed inspirational book comes recommended by Artisan Book Reviews.
