A consummate professional, Mr. Morgenstein has excelled in his career since establishing himself in 1958. He began his tenure working as a senior buyer for the Melville Shoe Corporation in New York City. Following nearly a decade in this role, he progressed to more prominent positions, including president of Kitty Kelly Shoe Company, executive vice president of A.S. Beck Shoes, executive vice president of Sandia International, and president and chief executive officer of Marquesa International Corporation, a $55 million company for over 30 years. Additionally, Mr. Morgenstein found success as a senior accountant manager of Signature Group Division, vice president of AdvanceMe.com, and senior vice president and national sales director of Sterling Funding Corp. In recognition of professional excellence, Mr. Morgenstein was selected for inclusion in Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the East, and Who’s Who in the World. He prepared for a career in business by achieving a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Alabama in 1955. Thereafter, he continued in his professional development through membership with the Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America, for which he served as vice chairman and member of the board of directors and executive committee. Additionally, Mr. Morgenstein has been involved with the International Footwear Association as president, and the 210 Association and Toastmasters International.
He has been married to his wife Sylvia for over 60 years and they have 2 sons (his oldest Lee passed away in late 2017), and 2 grandsons.
