Written in a skillful alternating narration style, PD Alleva created several layered characters that held my interest and made me care about their welfare. When horror elements were introduced, they were well placed, and they kept the story super interesting and intriguing. I never knew what was going to happen next to each character or how they’d all come together. The build to the end had my heart pounding and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to see how everything would be resolved.
