Her debut novel is truly a captivating story about the bonds of love from the lovers’ mystical past transcending into the present world. This kinship comes with many unexpected pivotal twists and turns and dips into the world of black magic.
The faultless introduction will make you pause just long enough to secure your doors before continuing reading. But you will, for you’re already invested in the outcome.
Varsha Ravi’s descriptive details are true to the character and provide a defining moment for readers. As in this passage…
“The boy’s irises were the color of gold coins, molten and over-warm. His face was fine-boned and lovely, though oddly austere in the way of sepia photographs. In the dead of night, he looked to Suri like a bloody shred of some unfinished fairy tale.”
