Synopsis:
Seventeen-year-old Arthur Godwin-Dragos finds himself much unlike his childhood heroes who fought for the grace and honor of Camelot. Banished to a bleak boarding school in England, Arthur cannot help but retreat into the fantasy of his mother’s old tales. Longing for his own destiny to assuage his loneliness and despair, Arthur withers in exile in wait for something more.
In the stillness, however, the hands of fate begin to turn. Across the universe, far out of reach of time or space, the planet Avalon grows dim. The ancient sorceress Merlin awakes from a fevered dream–as prophecy calls out through the darkness. Sealed and forgotten, Morgana la Fey stirs in the dark, biding her time to strike against Merlin and Avalon. Once again must the legend of King Arthur awaken, and with the power of the mighty Excalibur, beat back the insufferable darkness once and for all.

Re: Camelot: The Complete Edition by E.C. Fisher is an extraordinary story written by an incredible writer. I wouldn’t be surprised if this goes from book to movie!
Arthur Godwin-Dragos had no ordinary life after the accident that killed his parents. Sent abroad to study away from his Aunt Mary, his father’s sister, who was his guardian after their death, set him on a path leading to an incredible journey. But, first, he had to come to terms with his exile, the loneliness and despair he felt from being banished to a dull colorless boarding school in England.
Leaving behind his friends, the twelve-year-old retreated into the fantasy of his mother’s old tales. His memory of her love of reading about King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table comforted him as he awaited his own destiny.
He embraced the knowledge from his reading and developed the attitude of a knight. Now at seventeen-years-old he fit in with his class-mates even less. He was accustomed to being treated as a misfit and outcast since arriving, the years had made no difference. He bid his time in solace.
In a faraway place, on the planet Avalon, slowly the hours, days, and years passed, and the hands of fate awakens Merlin. The ancient sorceress knew the meaning behind her fevered dream and the clear prophecy. She must once again avenge Avalon.
The legendary King Arthur and his mighty Excalibur had driven out the darkness almost a millennium ago, and now it had returned. The city of Avalon had much to learn, but today they needed a hero. She prepared herself to summon their only hope – a descendant of Arthur.
The author, E.C. Fisher, has woven an incredible tale creating an exciting story from the present and intertwining a chivalrous and a legendary story within it. You’ll not only be reading, but experiencing the adventure as it unfolds. Excellent writing style and a literary command performance. Re: Camelot: The Complete Edition by E.C.
