Happenstance by Phil Sheehan is a must read – 5 star, science fiction – techno thriller story filled with twists and turns, excitement, action, adventure and a thrilling thought-provoking storyline with a unique concept and plot. Readers will not be able to put this book down – guaranteed!

A whirlwind of events and a multi-layered plot that creates unexpected challenges after a highly-trained Navy SEAL, Blake Thompson, and his skilled team of professionals are brought in to investigate. When unknown objects are spotted in two separate areas of the solar system, questions arise – could they be related? A bold journey on a newly designed spaceship begins, but is immediately threatened with issues not only to the team, but to the U.S. and possibly human existence itself.

With twists and turns around every corner, Happenstance takes its readers on an exciting and wild ride never once slowing down, but instead picking up momentum at every turn of the page. In Happenstance, Author, Phil Sheehan has done a remarkable job, packing it to the gills with thrilling and daring scenarios along with action and adventure. Truly an impressive novel that was tough to put down. This gripping sci-fi/techno thriller pays close attention to every detail with vivid and impressive descriptions of each new scene it presents.

I thoroughly enjoyed Happenstance, it kept me fully interested and engaged with an exciting storyline. And it doesn’t take a huge science fiction buff to appreciate how great this story really is. The characters became well developed throughout the book with meaningful and significant issues that could be relatable to all. I also liked getting to know the complex personalities of each individual. Happenstance by Phil Sheehan is a very thought provoking story, Artisan Book Reviews definitely recommends it and we can’t wait for a sequel!
